Well …. it’s when a fan of a specific creation decides to wing up a written piece as a tribute to their admired hero or heroes. It’s a fragment of their imagination an’ they can play with the settin’ an’ plot! Liiike … let’s say they take Superman, and then write down a story about the downfall of his super-hero career an’ droppin’ out, disappearin’ for a few years an’ shortly afterwards, his evil twin brother finds out said forgotten hero in some trashy garage band.
… or they write somethin’ ‘bout Superman gettin’ laid with other superheroes or with Barack Obama for all those 'fans’ fancy.
